THE RULES


8 Week Health Challenge
Monday January 7th - Monday March 4th

Entry Fee: $20

Rules: Track daily the points you receive in each of four categories and report back a weekly total each Monday.  You can use one “freebie” in each category per week where you will receive points for that day.  If your points are turned in by Monday evening you will receive an extra “freebie” for any category you choose.  Freebies cannot be carried over into subsequent weeks.  

Additional points will be given at the completion of the Challenge for your percentage weight loss.  Record your weight on Monday January 7th and again on Monday March 4th using the same scale, the same time of day, and wearing the same clothing (or lack thereof).  For every percentage you lose you will receive 100 points.  For example, at the end of the challenge if you lost 4.5% of your body weight, you would earn an additional 450 points.

The person with the most points wins!  There will be a cash reward given for first, second, and third place.  The money for the rewards will come 100% from the money collected by the contestants.  The more people that participate, the larger the cash rewards will be for the winners.  


Point Categories

Exercise - 30pts  
Exercise consecutively for a minimum of 30 minutes 6 days a week.  In addition to any freebie usage, one day per week of your choosing will not be counted in the exercise category. 

No FIGS - 25pts
FIGS stands for “Fried foods, Ice cream, Goodies, and Soda”.  

Fruits/Vegetables - 25pts
Daily you should eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in any combination.  

Water - 20pts
Drink a total of 64oz a day.
